The requirement to join Culper is simple - you must be a current/former staff employee. There is no length of service requirement.

How to join
All new members must be validated. We have two ways to join. 1) follow the instructions below 2) reach out to [email protected] and we will work with you to have a current Culper member vouch for your status.

Step 1: Verify staff status.
Provide authorization to Culper for OAR to disclose to Culper information regarding employment with, retirement from and/or resignation from the Organization for the sole purpose of validating employment.

Step 2: Now we wait.
While we wait 7-10 business days to receive the response, you should request access to Culper's closed LinkedIn Group by sending a request to the link. If you are not on LinkedIn, we will reach out to you via email.

Step 3: You're in!
Once staff employment has been validated, Culper will admit you to the closed LinkedIn group and send you a welcome email. We will also request any information needed to complete your member profile.

Our Values: We are a non-partisan and non-political organization that values discretion, professionalism, and mutual support.

Community Engagement: All members of Culper agree to be part of a large network open to contact and networking from fellow Culpers. Culpers may reach out directly to you or Culper may work with an individual to help facilitate specific contacts or requests within our community.

Annual Update: In January, we ask all Culpers to participate in an annual validation exercise to update profile information and participate in our annual survey.

Giving: Culper is a non-profit supported by sponsors and donors. Monetary contribution is not required or expected but greatly appreciated. Consider giving if you get something of value from Culper.

How We Use Your Email: We send a newsletter 4–6 times a year, along with targeted event emails to Culpers based on location.

Your Privacy: Your contact information is protected and kept private. We never share it without your permission
